With over 25 years of nursing experience in critical care, emergency medicine, and mental health settings, she understands the intricate connection between mind and body in achieving optimal healing outcomes.


Marilyn's approach centers on one fundamental principle: never losing sight of the human being behind the illness. She treats each client as a complete person rather than a collection of symptoms, creating a judgment-free therapeutic environment where personal stories are valued and individual voices are heard.
Her experience at Washington Hospital Center's Level 1 trauma unit and her work with Veterans at the DC VA Medical Center has deepened her commitment to client-centered care that prioritizes respect, empowerment, and collaborative healing. She believes true healing extends beyond medications and protocols—it's about listening, understanding, and walking alongside clients without judgment.
